In my 6 Pay Transparency Steps Every Manager Needs to Take blog, I discussed the value of pay transparency, given the idea that telling people how their pay is determined buys employee morale points. Yes, there are some communication landmines to avoid as we don’t simply interpret “pay transparency” as the sharing of salary and bonus information of specific employees at a firm.
